Bonnie Quan, artist QuanArtworks

Bonnie Quan holds a Bachelor in Fine Art with a major in drawing and painting and a minor in art education from Utah State University. She also holds a Masters Degree in art education from Stanford University.

After finishing her MA, her primary focus became her life as a single mother of two boys, who both graduated from college. An avid photographer most of her adult life, she spent hundreds of hours in the dark room, then traveled to China, Malaysia, New York and Paris with digital cameras, abandoning the darkroom forever. She has had numerous direct rendered artworks, photographs and photo-collages accepted in juried exhibits and competitions including New York’s Lincoln Center, and has won several awards, including a best in show. She has had several one-woman exhibits of her landscape paintings, and digital artworks, as well as served an exhibits curator.

As a teacher of computer basics, digital art and digital photography to older adults and disabled adults, she drew from her curriculum and experiences to author two books.

Currently, Quan works primarily in oils and digitally with photo-collages to create her fine art images.
